From our initial meeting, it was obvious to us that Jacki knew the difference between selling a “house” and selling a “home”.
Selling a house is mostly about dollars and profit, as it should be. Selling a home is often a more emotional situation and requires a certain amount of reassurance, patience and attention to clients who maybe are unsure of the right move.
Jacki was never too busy to answer the phone, or a text, or an email (sometimes all 3) and answer any questions or concerns, no matter how trivial, and often followed up to see if there was anything else we needed.
She, along with Anastasia, who understands a complicated process and keeps everything running on time, and Chris, the contractor who can fix pretty much anything, and Shaun, whose photography was beyond excellent, made this whole experience pleasant, and at times, even fun.
Finally, Jacki's colleague Darcy Scollin found us a great place in another state to call home.
As far as our house, it was listed on Thursday, we had 17 showings that weekend, four solid offers on Monday, and signed an agreement on Tuesday for 10% over asking, 5 days after listing.
Jacki's understanding of the real estate business and the market, her contacts, sense of timing and how to price things realistically were the main factors in that success.
